Branch Manager – Baton Rouge

Bank of Zachary is seeking an experienced Branch Manager with a passion for business development to lead our new Baton Rouge branch. The ideal candidate will proactively build relationships, prospect for new business, drive branch growth, develop a loyal customer base, and establish a strong presence in the Baton Rouge community. The Branch Manager will oversee daily branch operations, supervise and support branch staff, and ensure a superior customer experience. Responsibilities include opening and maintaining deposit accounts, CDs, and IRAs; accepting consumer loan applications; identifying and cross-selling appropriate products and services; and representing the Bank through community, civic, and public relations activities. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or five to seven years of financial institution experience. Candidates should possess current knowledge of banking and lending, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with teller, cash-handling, customer-service, or retail-sales experience who is interested in building a career with opportunities for growth and development. Universal Bankers perform teller duties, open and maintain customer accounts, and provide support across various areas of retail banking.
